For those who enjoy hiking and exploring, the nearby cliff paths and mountains offer breath-taking views and plenty of opportunities to get out and connect with nature.

The Hemel and Aarde Valley offers 4 mountain bike routes and if you're a wine lover, be sure to take a drive along the famous wine route, where you can sample some of the best wines the region has to offer. And let's not forget about the incredible wildlife that surrounds us.

Keep an eye out for whales that often swim close to shore, and marvel at these magnificent creatures as they breach and play in the water.
